Saul Kaplan – CEO, Business Innovation Factory, Providence, Rhode Island

  • Saul Kaplan is the founder and chief catalyst of the Business Innovation Factory (BIF), a real-world laboratory for exploring and testing new business models and social systems. BIF has attracted a global community of over 5,000 innovators and organizes the internationally renowned BIF Collaborative Innovation Summit. Peter W. Roberts, Roberts Health Solutions and Children’s Health System of Texas, Dallas, Texas

  • Peter Roberts serves as President of Roberts Health Solutions, a firm that advises health systems and other organizations about community-based population health strategies. From 2011-2017, Peter led the Population Health and Insurance Services division of Children’s Health System of Texas.  In that role, he conceived, organized and directed the company’s development of a pediatric value-based business model, including an HMO financing vehicle, a provider-led accountable care organization (ACO), adult health system affiliations, a data and analytics core, and a comprehensive population health management support system. Peter led the conceptualization and development of The Health and Wellness Alliance for Children, a collective impact social change initiative comprised of more than 90 nonprofit, government and business organizations dedicated to improving the health of children in Dallas. He also pioneered a new model for working with families to enhance their own personal power in service of their health. His previous positions include Group Vice President, Provider Relations and Health Management at Wellmark Blue Cross Blue Shield of Iowa and South Dakota, and President, M-Care HMO at the University of Michigan Medical Center, where he also served as Senior Associate Director of Managed Care Systems.


Janet Pilcher, CEO, Studer Education Group, Pensacola, Florida

  • Pilcher is the Founder and Managing Director of the education division of Studer Group. She leads a team of professionals who work with senior executives and board members associated Institutions of Higher Education and K12 school systems to apply a systems continuous improvement process. Dr. Pilcher spends most of her time working with outstanding leaders in educational institutions throughout the United States.
